A Tribute to My Dear Wife on Her 60th Birthday
— By Dcn Festus Idjoko (Husband)
Today, with a heart full of gratitude to God, I celebrate a remarkable woman, my beloved wife, as she marks her 60th birthday.
Sixty years of God's faithfulness, grace, and goodness. Sixty years of touching lives, nurturing relationships, and leaving footprints of love wherever you go.
For me and our family, you are far more than a wife and mother, you are a priceless gift from God. Though we have had our share of disagreements over the years, they have never overshadowed the love, commitment, and partnership we have shared since our marriage in 1990. Through every season, your dedication to our family has remained unwavering, and for that, we are deeply grateful.
One of the greatest testimonies of your life is the impact you have had on people. Over the years, so many individuals have passed through our home and have been touched by your kindness, generosity, guidance, and care. Our home has been a place of refuge, encouragement, and support to many, largely because of your willingness to open your heart and extend a helping hand to others.
Some came as visitors and left as family; others came in moments of need and found comfort, strength, and hope. The lives you have touched and the seeds of love you have sown over the years form a rich legacy that will continue to speak for generations to come.
Another outstanding quality of my dear wife is her boldness and thoroughness in all that she does. She approaches every responsibility with diligence, determination, and an unwavering commitment to excellence. She is not one to do things halfway; whatever she sets her hands to do, she does with careful attention to detail and a desire to achieve the best possible outcome.
Her courage and boldness have been a source of strength to our family. She is never afraid to stand for what she believes is right, regardless of the circumstances. She speaks with conviction, acts with integrity, and remains steadfast in her principles.
At times, her firmness in holding to her convictions has led to disagreements between us and with others. However, even in those moments, her position has always stemmed from a sincere desire to uphold what she believes to be true, right, and beneficial. While we may not always see things in the same way, I have come to appreciate the integrity, honesty, and consistency that characterize her convictions.
She is also remarkably prudent with money. Through the years, she has demonstrated wise stewardship of the resources God has entrusted to our family. Her careful planning, discipline, and ability to distinguish between needs and wants have helped us navigate many seasons of life successfully. More than once, I have discovered that when I begin a project and entrust its supervision to her, she often manages it more efficiently and economically than I would have done myself. Her financial wisdom has contributed greatly to the stability and progress of our home.
Another remarkable quality that I must not fail to mention is her exceptionally sharp memory. She possesses an amazing ability to recall details that most people would have forgotten long ago. In fact, she can still remember the colour of the shoes I wore on our wedding day over 36 years ago! Her memory for people, events, dates, and family history is truly extraordinary.
Interestingly, that same remarkable memory also means that she can vividly remind me of mistakes I made more than twenty years ago, often with such accuracy and detail that I sometimes wonder if the events happened only yesterday! While I have occasionally encouraged her to let go of some of those old grievances, I must admit that her ability to remember so much is one of the qualities that makes her unique. It reflects her deep commitment to relationships, her keen attention to detail, and the importance she places on the experiences and memories we have shared together.
Over the years, her remarkable memory has served as the family's living archive, preserving stories, milestones, and precious moments that might otherwise have been forgotten. It has also provided countless moments of laughter, reflection, and the occasional gentle reminder. This extraordinary gift is just one of the many qualities that make her the exceptional woman we celebrate today.
As you celebrate this milestone birthday, we thank God for your life, your love, your sacrifices, and your countless contributions to our family and to everyone privileged to know you. May the Lord continue to strengthen you, bless you with good health, fill your days with joy and peace, and grant you many more fruitful years ahead.
Happy 60th Birthday, my darling wife. We love you dearly, we celebrate you wholeheartedly, and we thank God for the priceless gift that you are.
With all my love and admiration,
Festypee.
My Mother : My Greatest Inspiration
— By Mrs Deborah Idjoko Benj-Odia (Daughter)
Happy 60th Birthday to My Mother
The one who gave birth to me, raised me, and continues to inspire me.
I cannot thank God enough for blessing me with a mother like her. A woman filled with wisdom, strength, kindness, and love.
My mother truly embodies strength, resilience, and determination. She raised me to be skillful, diligent, and excellent in all that I do. She is, without a doubt, my greatest inspiration.
When I became a mother, I drew so much inspiration from her. Her ability to provide the very best for her children, to raise them with love and discipline, and to guide them with wisdom. She taught me that motherhood is not just about meeting immediate needs, but about laying up treasures for your children and building a foundation that will last a lifetime.
When my mum turned 50, instead of celebrating herself, she chose to prioritize my education because the economy was falling at that time. Her foresight was remarkable, and her sacrifices truly reflected the heart of a devoted mother. During that season, I prayed to God for a time when we would celebrate her lavishly, and I am so grateful that this prayer has become a reality.
Mummy, today I celebrate you.
Thank you for being an incredible mother. Thank you for every sacrifice you made to ensure I had a beautiful and comfortable life, both at home and at school. Before I even realized I needed something, you had already seen to its provision. I lacked nothing, and that is the same example I strive to follow as I raise my own children. To plan ahead, provide well, and lay up treasures for them.
Thank you for also being the most wonderful grandmother. When Zena was born, you took complete care of us with so much love, care, and generosity. I didn't step into my kitchen to cook until you left - four months after Zena was born! I still remember calling you all the way in Nigeria to ask where I could find the Maggi cubes in my own kitchen... hahaha! That's because while you were with us, you fed us, took care of our home with so much care and filled our freezers before you left. You made sure I had no worry. What an extraordinary mother you are.
As you begin this new decade, I pray that God blesses you with even greater joy, peace of mind, abundant blessings, and perfect health.
By God's grace, we will celebrate many, many more birthdays together in Jesus' name. You will live long to enjoy the fruits of all your labor, in Jesus' name.
I love you now and always.
Happy 60th Birthday, Mummy❤️
An Extraordinary Mother
— By Mrs Temidayo Popoola (Daughter)
Happy Birthday to an extraordinary mother, a woman of unmatched strength, courage, and grace.
You are the definition of resilience, a fierce protector, and a source of inspiration to everyone around you. Through every challenge, you have stood tall with unwavering faith and determination, showing me what true strength looks like. I admire your strength so much and it has shaped me in different ways. Your wisdom is priceless, and your heart is filled with compassion.
Today, I celebrate not just another year of your life, but the remarkable woman you are. You have celebrated everyone around you, now it’s your turn to be celebrated. May God continue to strengthen you, bless you with good health, surround you with joy, and reward you abundantly for every sacrifice and act of love you have given. You will forever eat the fruits of your labor.
May this new year bring you greater victories, deeper peace, and endless reasons to smile. Thank you for being my pillar, my champion, and my hero.
Happy Birthday to a truly fierce and phenomenal mother. May your light continue to shine brightly for many years to come!
My Mother : A Woman of Love, Wisdom and Good Values
— By Daniella Idjoko (Daughter)
My mother is a wonderful woman whose life reflects love, wisdom and strong values. She believes in doing the right thing and has always taught her children the importance of respect, honesty, hard work and responsibility.
She is a disciplined person, but her discipline is balanced with kindness and care. She guides us with wisdom and always wants the best for us. Her corrections are never meant to discourage us but to help us grow into better people.
One of the greatest things about my mother is her love for her family. She is caring, supportive, and always willing to make sacrifices for the happiness and success of her children. She rejoices in our achievements and stands by us during difficult times.
Her strength, dedication, and good example have helped shape our lives in many positive ways. We are blessed to have a mother who not only teaches good values but also lives by them every day.
I am grateful for her love, guidance, and prayers. She is a precious gift from God, and I celebrate her today and always.
One memorable moment that reflects my mother's warm and outgoing personality happened during our school's Monoculture Day, when the Yoruba culture was being celebrated. There were talking drums, traditional music, and cultural dances. While many people remained seated, my mother was the first person to stand up and join the dancers.
Her enthusiasm encouraged others to participate, and soon many people followed her example. What made the experience even more special was what happened afterward. When we returned to school on Monday, one of my classmates said to me, "I really like your mom. She is so natural and free-spirited"
That comment stayed with me because it captured something unique about my mother. She is confident, cheerful, and comfortable being herself. She is not afraid to join in, have fun, and make others feel at ease. Her positive energy often inspires those around her to step out of their comfort zones and enjoy the moment.

Felicitation with Our Diamond Mama
— By Pastor Suraj Adejumo (Friend and Brother)
Pastor Mrs. Olaide Abosede Idjoko (Nee Temowo) is a rare gem and a priceless gift to the world. What I admire most and have benefitted from about her is her gift of FINANCIAL INTELLIGENCE. The Lord has used this gift in her to elevate her immediate family and bless the people around her. Mama G.O. as she is popularly known is a firm and uncompromising believer in prudence and a strong hater of wastage in any form. Her sense of foresight is a top notch. She is a woman God has used to impact a lot of people.
As very accommodating mother, her home has nurtured many children who are not biologically from her womb that are doing greatly well today in different spheres of life. She is the wise woman who builds her home.
I know this woman as a Prayer warrior and a woman of uncommon faith and wisdom. Happy birthday W.O.G.; happy birthday Mama G.O. I wish you many more years in good health, sound mind and all round blessings.

A Woman of Substance
— By Aunty Amaka (Potters Camp)
Happy Birthday to A Woman of Substance, Mrs A. Idjoko. You are a loving and caring Daughter of GOD. I initially studied you from a distance to ascertain what I was told of you, and later found out you are a woman one can always be happy to identify with.
She is so simple, her personal status and achievements are not advertised in a show of superiority.
She is fearless, and has great sense of humor, this makes me smile whenever am around her, for instance, I noticed that Force men on the highway or even our terrible - (I no go gree) Area guys, the road blockers easily submit to allow her drive pass once she appears before them, with her funny approach, they bow, others can be blocked, but not her.
Has a great talent in moulding personalities to excellence from my observance in her tutorials at the Potters Academy. She is a great motivator and counselor as well.
A straight forward woman, her love is the type that gives up itself for others. There's no dull moment with her, a no nonsense woman.
Mommy Idjoko, we give GOD all the glory for giving us a rare gift as you. I truly respect you for these values.
Wishing You Greater Years full of GOD'S Beautiful packages ahead.
Above all, at HIS Appearing after the end of Peaceful long time here, May You Earn Eternity with HIM at last in JESUS Name.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY GOD'S TREASURED DAUGHTER.

Thank you for staying, for caring, and for being more than a friend. You’re family forever. ❤️
